Occasional Squeak over bumps

I have a 2014 428i XDrive coupe. I noticed recently when I go over certain types of bumps with the driver's side, I hear a faint squeak occasionally. I have 42K miles, got it at 19K miles.

My previous car, a2013 328i XDrive, had a messed up suspension when I bought it at 42K miles, I didn't know the suspension was already worn because I was a noob (It had this exact same problem I have with my 4 now) And it was really bad when I got it to around 60K miles. So I ended up dumping it for the 428i I have currently because the suspension started knocking at 63K miles.

The fact that it is the same exact sound worries me that the same thing will happen soon. And that this is just what happens to the F30/32 generation. I admit, I do live in New England, so that definitely is not helping, but I don't really hit a lot of potholes with my 428i, I've been really good with avoiding them. The suspension is by far better than the 3 series I had

Anyone else have this issue?
What should I do?

Any insight would be appreciated!

My 2014 435i with 50k miles started squeaking in winter going over small bumps. I went to check it out a month ago and all 4 shocks are blown. The tech said its very common in colder climates. Hope this helps!

any recent work done to tie to the problem? squeek could be from the control arm or sway bar link maybe, in past cars that was my cause.

Interesting. Its true my suspension went on my 328i when the squeaking got bad. But it was a rough ride at that point. I replaced one of the control arms on this car but the squeak didn't go away.

My 4 now still feels very comfortable in comparison. I live in new england so we get bad winters too.

I hope I have a year or two with it. I really like this one but don't want to have to get a new suspension at 42K miles!!!

Update

I got BMW to look at my car. They said that the Thrust Arm Bushing needs to be replaced as it is worn and traveling more than it should. The quote I got was $780 for both to be replaced.

He said if it gets bad it can vibrate at high speeds or make a banging noise at a hard stop. Luckily I am not at that stage, but I hope this helps someone else.

That is absolutely way too much to replace those.

Parts should be $160 for a set from fcpeuro, then maybe 2-300 for install from an independent shop. You should get an alignment done at the same time as well...

I guess it's not that far off, but you'll still save at least $200 by going to an independent shop.
