You ride the awe exhaust with catless downpipe? What do you think avout the sound? Its too loud?

I had a n20 with awe quad. I hated it tbh, it drones and was LOUD (mind you I have a 340i mppsk now and thats doesnt even drone with valves open like the AWE did).

I would avoid the AWE drone free hype

Eh... I have it. Very little drone but I'm run stock dp.

Btw the awe quad has less drone than anything out there including mpe. If you don't want to hear drone, drive on sport mode all the time...I never get any drone on sport mode.

I’ve got it. Catless with resonator and AWE. I personally like it. There is drone but it’s minimal.

You guys are missing the point, they advertise drone *free*... Yeah I can drive in sport mode to eliminate some of the sound but.... what if I want comfort mode and no drone?

I too experienced drone with awe quad, I wouldn't recommend it. It went away in sport mode but then I either had to deal with longer shifts or shifting myself (not fun when stuck in traffic). I think they fall short of their drone free promise and therefore wouldnt recommend it. Also drone is subjective but have my brothers car with MPE and mine with AWE I can definitely say the MPE exhaust is better in terms of sound and no drone.

I haven't really seen a drone free exhaust. So it's up to the user what is drone for him. I know for sure that my friend say his remus has no drone but I think his eardrum is fuck up if he can't hear what i hear riding passenger on his car.😏
