Hoping anyone could help. I was looking for tires in the common size mentioned below:

Front: 235/40/19
Rear: 265/35/19

However, I found a good deal on tires but the fronts are 235/35/19. I don't know much about tires, so I wanted to know will this make a big difference in the look? Will it look bad or just not work? Should I keep looking or will this be ok? What do you guys think? Maybe I should go down like 225 and 255?
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!

Did you change your wheels? So what are the spec? Is the car xdrive or rwd?

With 235/35/19, it will have less diameter creating more fender gap. Not to mention less sidewall to protect your wheels

As you mention you can go use the OEM size 225 and 255 tires only if you don't mind the slight stretch. The stretch will depend on how wide your new wheel.

Hey, i forgot to specify. Car is rwd. I am getting aftermarket rims 19";
Front: 19" 8.5 et:32
Rear: 19" 9.5 et:40

I am also not sure what you mean by stretch. I am not sure if to just go down to 225/40 255/35, or get the 235/35 with 265/35 or 265/30. I can provide more info if you need. What do you think or recommend? Its stock suspension as well. Thanks for your help.

forget about the deal.

for your planned wheels just get 235/40/19 front, 265/35/19 rear. this is the best size combo for your wheels at stock ride height.

225 on a 8.5 wide wheel and 255 on 9.5 is not much of a stretch. You can that used tire size just like 19" OEM. But alohasurftoad is right tho. 235/40 and 265/35 is the right size. Sometimes 235/40 is hard to find so some and also me run 245/35, it's a slight rake forward setup like the M4 but it works.

Yeah I see thanks man. Would 235/35 and 265/30 be ok? What is the big difference between this size and the main popular size? Just curious that's all. Appreciate the insight brother.

The diameter is smaller almost more than half an inch... you get bigger fender gap

Ohh I see now. So another option to help with that fender gap, could be to lower the car on springs or coilovers right?

Right you can lower the car or run the proper set up....maybe go 245/35 and 275/30.

On the side note.... smaller diameter wheel/tire your speedo will read incorrectly.

I think even when you change your tires out to a bigger size than factory, speedo will still read slightly incorrect. You would just have to recalibrate it correct? I am sure I can google it for a way or am i wrong? Im considering going up like you said just seems like a lot of tire lol

Yup... all these are options for you.

Now choose one and post photo of the wheels with the car.
