I have bms billet with occ and start up roar worked fine.

BMS open billet.
GTS start up roar is working fine with me. The only issue i had its engine choke when start-up, because of the rpm will slightly drop-down, causing choke.

I'm trying to resist the urge to just put the custom burble sliders to max on my stage 1 B48 but I can BARELY hear a difference with the OTS settings or if I set aggression to around 8 or so... is this just typical of a completely stock car with no intake or exhaust mods?

Yeah I’ll probably land in the same place, I test drove an X3 M40i last week and it was so obnoxious in Sport mode with all the pops and burbles that I’d be embarrassed to drive it like that. If it’s a legit M car i get it but they’re getting a little silly with the Semi-M lineup. It was way noisier than my E70 X5M. I ended up in a Maserati Levante as a rental for awhile by accident and my wife kept telling me to stop being such an asshole in traffic because it was making so much unnecessary noise; then she drove it and had to apologize when she realized it just sounds like that on its own.

The only reason I really want to turn up the volume a little on my B48 is to drown out the fuel injector noise and diesel like clatter it makes normally!

I installed a better amp and crank up the volume.

I was planning on catless dp so I could go stage 2 but I still would’ve kept burbles off.

Same here
Even on Stage 2 AGG, Max aggresion, can't spot any different with the OTS.
330i B48 engine, with catless DP, straight pipe exhaust, and BMS open filter.

Previously use on 320i N20, and the difference is day and night

Yeah I think the N20 maps are much further along in development, I'm happy with it running well and we can get the extra stuff later if it shows up.
