Yeps, same here, ended up taking that option off. I don't think that roar was meant for the N20/26's..

i think the correct word is GTS startup roar was not meant for 4 cyl BMW, since the issue also happen to my B48 engine

I've been searching this thread and can't seem to find any info on it. I have a 330i with a B46 and I've been looking at BM3. I see now that the bundles are included but when I saw on their website they only offered bundles for the B48. I know these motors are very similar but I'm sure those maps wouldn't work, do they offer additional maps for the B46?

check OTS map section, that's all the map you can get with extra 50 for bundles

Just scroll down to find this package, Im running BM3 stage 1/93 on my b46 330i with xdelete and just added xHP. Will put a constant grin on your face.

Yeah. BM3 Stage 1 + xHP Stage 3 will totally upgrade the car to the next level. Every gear pull is so satisfying and you can feel the throttle is very responsive.

The GTS Start-Up Roar works fine on my B48 320i. Burbles nicely too - when starting car back up after it had been warmed up after a drive
My car is Stage 1 91 Oct, and the only mod I have is 340i Catback system installed (with golf tee mod).

Same. Cold starts are very rough with startup roar for me, gonna take it off today.

Had the same issue before with the GTS roar and turned it off. Thought it would have been a cool add on but no.

Honestly curious, what's the difference with timing and boost from stage 2 91/93 vs the e30 tune? For some reason, the e30 tune's throttle response feels delayed in comparison to stage 1 or stage 2 91/93. tried this out today since I wanted my nose to burn running e30 and a catless downpipe.

edit - car feels normal after a couple miles. Still curious of boost differences though.

For the ones having issues with the GTS Startup Roar, do the Learned Adaptations Reset and see if it does the trick.

Had an issue where the car seemed to be barely holding on during startup. After the reset it's all normal now.

When the engine is cold, the rpm progression is from 1500 rpm to 1200 rpm to 900 rpm.

When the engine is warm, the rpm progression is from 1800 rpm to 1200 rpm to 900 rpm.

my start-up only chokes up when the engine is cold
but if the engine is warm, no chokes and GTS startup roar work perfectly

Hey Rad its me Brian from YT channel, glad to see u on here as well. PTF just launched their beta program for a direct Enet to iphone tuning. I still have my RPi 3 as a backup in case.

Also for me, i am not taking chances anymore with the GTS, that low idle rpm dropping can't be good for the engine and maybe cause some knocking issue in the long term, and we all know the TC issues wirj these N's...
