Back of pads post trackday - should i clean it?

should i clean the surface of these before putting them back in the car? (the backing plate!)
would it be wise to sand them down with some wet-n-dry so its a smooth surface?
or should i just spray degreaser and give it a wipe and leave it at that?

what do you guys do when putting track pads back in?

Don't worry about it. Just put them back into the caliper. You can put some high-temp grease on the contact surfaces (piston area and side slider) though.

What FaRKle! Said. That's what I do with my track pads too.
