Back of pads post trackday - should i clean it?
should i clean the surface of these before putting them back in the car? (the backing plate!)
would it be wise to sand them down with some wet-n-dry so its a smooth surface? or should i just spray degreaser and give it a wipe and leave it at that? what do you guys do when putting track pads back in? Last edited by gippy; 07-08-2020 at 09:56 AM.. |

Don't worry about it. Just put them back into the caliper. You can put some high-temp grease on the contact surfaces (piston area and side slider) though.
