Is EGR closed on Sport Mode ?

I have a B47 diesel and i want to better understand when is EGR Open/Closed.

If i ran on ECO Pro with 80 kph in 8th gear @ 1100 RPM, the EGR Recirculates gases ? that means it pollutes the admission gallery with ash.

I i only drive on Sport, even inside the City, will the EGR be shut off ?

So, if my two theories are valid, driving on Sport does good for the engine, but bad o gas mileage.

The EGR circulates all the time.

EGR control is very complex and variable depending on operating mode, conditions, boost, rpm, temperatures, etc.

But it does not vary for sports mode or eco.
Sports mode is just an accelerator pedal modifier. There isn't much different.
