Android and Spotify (Issue with last Spotify update?)

Hi,

For Smartphone Android users, Someone can confirm me that Spotify App appears and works with BMW Connected since the last update of Spotify.

Of sure, it worked 2 weeks ago with full Spotify control and picture art.
I have checker Apps, restarded them, deleted them, launched them together but no way to have Spotify logo in BMW Connected

However, Streaming Audio works via Classic Bluetooth Audio.

On Android:
BMW Connected: v6.3.2.6158
Spotify: v8.5.68.904

BMW 3 GT F34 / Production date 2018

Hi,

Had the same issue, remove the "upgraded" Spotify version e.g. 8.5.68.904 from your Android device and open page:
https://spotify.en.uptodown.com/android/versions

Then install Spotify version 8.5.66.1002, this fixed it for me.

Cheers.

PS Block the auto upgrade in Google App Store on your Android device.

Some extra info: https://community.spotify.com/t5/Oth...g/td-p/4611424
seems that Spotify is looking into the issue

This has never worked with ID4 for me, any solutions for this version?
The iOS version seems to work with ID4.

There is no official Android support with ID4, but you can use this to retrofit it and even add more functions:
