Tyres PSI dramatically increases in hot weather?

Hello,
I have an F30 330e 2017 with new 'go flat' tyres - MPS4.

Revently there's very hot wather in the UK (35c a lot for the UK) and I noticed that when I took the car to a short drive on the motorway today (around 30 miles? not much) the PSI in the fron tires reached 47(!), I keep ot at the spec 41 usually and the tire sidewall says don't inflate it to over 50.

Is this dangerious? What shoudl I do if I go on a long drive? let some air out of the tires (they'll be warm naturally).

Thank you!

It’s normal. Set your tires at what the manufacturer says when cold and all will be good.

Thank you, I hope so.
Just worried that is I drove 300 miles instead of 30 the PSI could reach over 50 PSI... Also the manufactures presures assume runflat tyres, maybe go flats are different?

I realisethere are many far hotter places than the UK...

I know people have different preferences on tire pressure but for me 32lbs is what I run in normal tires and run flat tires. The only time I would run less is if I had a race car or off road vehicle while off reading for better traction.

Yes,
A 2-3 PSI increase after a long drive is normal, I though I saw a 6 PSI increase - maybe that's a fluke

Is 41 really the recommended normal inflation pressure? Seems a bit high to me.

Not the same model but for my staggered setup I run at a max of 37 all round.

The 50 max is cold pressure, don’t worry about it, Increase due to heat is already accounted for in the engineering of the tire.

I had the inverse problem, it was super hot and then cooled off when it started raining super heavily and the tires Cooled and dropped pressure so dramatically the TPMS threw a flat tire alert!
