I’ve had it on every car I’ve owned. You tune for about 70% blend so like E70. Everyone on the N55 and S55 is doing it without a sensor. What you can’t have without a sensor is automatic switching of map settings without a sensor but you just reflash then and Bob’s your uncle

So i've heard a few times that this is being released by "end of the month" - We getting any closer to the specifics of what day this week?

Also, is there any benefit at all with Stage 1 in upgrading the intake? I'm sure there isn't given the ~5-15 crank horsepower boost, but I wanted to check

I'll be honest I have talked to Juan over at BigBoost USA multiple times & they actually achieved 6++ whp with no meth but they do use a throttle body injection with is a secondary fueling system. So in regards to your question which is asking for no secondary fueling no body has really tested it because the cars trims would be so high you would probably messed your car up badly with out the adding fueling even if you were just using it to cool fuel trims

I just realized I didn't even answer your other questions haha

I plan to always use the meth fuel to cool the car next ones they do produce the HPFP. I am also planning on installed the heat exchanger kit because you will notice temps will definitely rise when producing such power. I can show you some logs if you have any questions.

proTUNING Freaks I'm new to your company as well as bootmod3 and one question I haven't been able to find a clear answer to is, do I need a dealer to install this? Or, more to the point, what does the dealer offer that a DIY doesn't? It appears that not all the dealers have a dyno, so are they just installing software and sending me on my way?

Currently I have an aftermarket intake, charge pipe, and exhaust, using JB4 so I imagine some tuning for my specific setup would be useful.

I'm a confident DIY'er but I also appreciate paying someone professional for things where some expertise is worth it.

Looking forward to the B48 release, thanks!

You only need a "dealer" (tuner, really) if you want custom tuning. Otherwise, pay for the license/maps, get your required cables/bluetooth adapters and flash away. You can run OTS maps if you don't care about having everything dialed in specifically for your car, or want a safe, baseline tune.

That's what it sounded like, thanks. I have a few dealer options around me but the only one that has good reviews appears to *not* have a dyno. I would certainly like to get a tune but at least that's not a required part of installed bootmod3.

So 600+ HP with bigger turbo and no meth ... does the throttle body kit utilizing the factory fuel tank with a secondary line?

Also, make sense about the trims. I'll also have to look into the heat exchanger. Not sure if they make it for an M40i.

But yes that is correct, I am still learning about it honestly but you pretty much hit the nail on the head with that response. Also yes 600+ WHP is possible with no meth. You would be on an E50 mix, TBI kit & running customer flash tune with transmission tune to achieve but none the less possible haha
