Taillights + Moisture

After asking around and talking to vendors that do custom lights, I was told to do the following for fixing moisture leaks into my rear tail piece.

- preheat oven to 170F
- place lights in with the lens facing up ofcourse
- take lights out in 20 mins
- reseal with permatex silicone

Anyone else try this?
