Hello,

I've been advised to reach out here.

I have an F36 BMW 440i (2016).

The history to the issue:

Car bought with features which seem to have been coded by a 3rd party. These are:
- Boot open close on fob button press.
- Wing mirrors auto open and close on lock / unlock.
- Full screen apple car play
- Android Mirroring
- ID6 update (originally ID5)

I've recently had the MPPSK kit installed, prior to installation I restored the Head Unit to stock using ProTool via my phone. I checked and it was on ID5 and no more Apple car play.

Once I collected the car, the set of features above were gone and I've been unable to code the Headunit using Protools. I get an error where its unable to code it.
Also the Navigation seems to be missing completely. When a Map update USB is plugged in, it says I need an activation code to enable Navigation.

So, I'm reaching out to better understand if I can rectify this issue myself using E-Sys (Which i have installed).
However, I am unsure on what to do now to do:
- ID5 to ID6 update
- Full screen Car Play
- Android Mirroring
- Activate Navigation
- Boot Auto open/close on fob. (done mirrors via ProTool)

Would you be able to Guide / Assist me in this task? I want to learn

You code the following yourself:
- ID5 to ID6
- Android Mirroring
- Boot Auto open/close on fob.
For fullscreen carplay you can patch it or code it depending on the nbtevo version.
Navigation you will have to buy FSC code.

To code using esys you need a launcher or a tool to edit the cafd. Check esysultra and bimmerutility. Can you still code using protool?

I can provide map FSC and carplay fullscreen patch. I can also code remotely using ENET cable.
