USB charging on/off constantly fix!!!
Hi Guys,
I think I found the culprit to this! I also had my usb port in the armrest flap with an on/off intermittent behaviour. It was only till a few days ago a member on here brought to my attention that one of the values needed to be changed via coding. I used BIMMERCODE and this was what I had to change: HU_NBT > HMI 3000 > CDMM_USB_AUDIO = all You need to change the last value at the end to (first) and this will fix the flapping issue. Note I used BIMMERCODE in expert mode. Its pretty much simple! Let me know how you get on if you still have your car and have this issue with the USB port in the armrest.

I was having the same issue.
Turns out buying a new Cable really did fix it. I had bought one that was cheap, I had a new one from a recently purchased iPad and it went bad due to barely being bent by the center console armrest. Searched forums for days on and off and different forums and kept seeing people say buy a new cable, code this, code that, buy a new socket, etc. I was getting frustrated and finally bought an $8 iphone cable *Iphone 6s new style cable* and BOOM-------Works as advertised and hasn't given me any problems. Plugged in the old cable for the hell of it the other day and my phone kept vibrating with the lighting bolt flashing on and off like it was before....... lost/fprgot my old account name and password so created a new one because I FEELS THIS ISSUE is common and wanted to give back... *TLDR* Purchased new cable as read many times being the fix and didnt know how to code or anyone here in Idaho that gets down like that and is cool.... |
