Increasing 340i interior sound

I test drove a 2 series and 3 series and I really like the 3. However the 340 is a good deal quieter in the cabin than the M240, and I'd like to hear the engine more. Are there any ways to accomplish this while not voiding your warranty? Does the MPE add some interior sound?

I'm assuming the M240i has some type of sport exhaust. The 340i just comes with a regular exhaust and tuning. If you get the MPPSK, it will tune the engine for more power, sound, and comes with an impressive new exhaust that is a good deal louder without sounding too loud.

Sounds like you need the MPPSK fix

Only available for pre June/July '18 production however

You'll need to replace the exhaust (MPE or others). I'm running the Active Autowerke, and it gives the 340 that missing exhaust note.

Alternative is drive it in "sport mode" all the time. It's fake synthesized sound, but it is better than pure quiet if you want some sporty sound.
