Stock vs. JB+ 0-100 km/h

Car = 2017 BMW 330i M Sport (RWD Steptronic)

Engine = B48B20 (248 hp & 350 Nm)

Fuel = 97 RON (92 AKI)

JB+ = 75% (3 o'clock position)

Launch control was not used. Brake boosting was not used. Times verified by Dragy.

Stock 0-100 = 7.05 s (6.64 s)

JB+ 0-100 = 6.69 s (6.28 s)

Difference between stock and JB+ is 0.36 s.

Launch control times will be added later on.

UPDATE:

Launch control times. Times verified by Dragy.

Stock 0-100 = 6.12 s (5.84 s)

JB+ 0-100 = 5.87 s (5.59 s)

Difference between stock and JB+ is 0.25 s.

NOTE: Figures in brackets are times with one foot rollout.

Both times are not impressive at all. You are supposed to be doing 5,9 s (or 5,8 s with XDrive) 0-100 with stock, according to spec!
7+ seconds is what you'd expect from 150-180 PS car.

Try again...

The figures that you quoted are times done with launch control under ideal conditions.

Read the original post once more. That would help.

I read it well, but the times I am quoting are pretty much what to expect with or without launch control (it does not bring that much on the petrol BMWs).
The speced times are (from experience) not so difficult to achieve or sometimes even beat.

Your times are deviating a lot! You are off by nearly 20%. Something is not right. 7 seconds is a long time for a 250+ PS car. Don't shoot the messenger.

Aye, have seen those videos. The first video's run is not verified by any timing device. The second video's run is done using launch control. No slope information as well which is absolutely necessary for valid 0-100 runs.

There is a significant difference between 0-100 runs done with launch control and without launch control given a particular set of race and environmental conditions. Definitely surprised me as well.

Wait for the 0-100 launch control timings on stock and JB+. Will be a lot closer to the car's specification sheet.

Getting mag times is tough... I bet my 0-60 in my 328i is like 8 seconds since it's a manual... Because in real life, you're not dumping the clutch/using launch control/building boost on brakes, etc.

To the OP, interesting info, seems like an appreciable difference.

I think op is right on the money with the stock times, what you see on other results YouTube/ig are from launch times on a stock car not modded.

Yeah, the main point of the runs was to compare the difference between stock and JB+. The difference is certainly appreciable.

Did you do several runs with and without? Seeing as your numbers are really high, you're obviously not doing anywhere near perfect runs, which means you can easily get a 0.36s difference without changing anything but how good you are at launching/shifting. How did you measure this?

Did several runs for both. The best times were chosen. The other times were very close to the best times.

Same road and environment for both. Made sure the time of the day was the same, along with fuel level and tire pressure.

Drive mode in "Sport Plus" and selector level in "S"... just like in launch control. But launch control was not used. Measured with Dragy.

Weird that you're not getting better times.

A lot of factors contribute to these times. Heat, humidity, road surface, and tires are just a few of them.

Wait for the launch control times. Will put them up later on.

Same conditions as original post but with JB+ at 4 o'clock position.

Launch control was not used. Brake boosting was not used. Times verified by Dragy.

Stock 0-100 = 7.05 s (6.64 s)

JB+ at 3 o'clock 0-100 = 6.69 s (6.28 s)

JB+ at 4 o'clock 0-100 = 6.58 s (6.17 s)

Difference between stock and JB+ at 3 o'clock is 0.36 s.

Difference between stock and JB+ at 4 o'clock is 0.47 s.

Did you do a launch control run with JB+ at 100%?

Both numbers with and without launch control seem to show the slightly consistent improvement. Nice runs. Next time we want video!
