Im getting anxious waiting for a 2015 328i M sport - Finally available in Canada! VIN check shows a production date of June 9 so I would imagine end of July it should be here. Im in Toronto, Canada. Dealer is saying the status is 95 shipped ... probably meant 195 shipped?

No luck on the VIN being on the WWL website either.

Has anyone been able to get the BMWFS website working after adding their 2016 VIN? It still won't let me log on.

Not on the main site, but yes on the demo site. The demo site is super slow and has no security features. I wouldn't recommend trying it.

Weasel, has your car reached the port yet?
Mine has been in transport to the port for the past 5 days.

Nope... same BS error message about BMWFS being down.

I hear ya. I'm a bit anxious myself, but also surprised that they are holding back the GCs but seem to have released the 340s to the carrier although EPA estimates haven't been released yet.

Anyone know of the differences in delivery time to east coast on a vehicle built in Germany versus one built in South Africa? Longer wait? How much longer?

Anyone else car on the Eurasian highway to US East Coast?

Anyone else on the same boat? (Literally !)

I will be doing a PCD delivery of a 2016 F30. Will be my 1st BMW & am excited.

Was told that the 2016 F30 models has't cleared EPA cert yet. So could either wait at the port or at PCD center before delivery can be scheduled.

BTW if anyone else's car is on the Eurasian Highway, its at the Celtic Sea and ETA US Baltimore July 26th.

Just got my production number! Popped over the other day and had a chat with the sales manager. Sounds like they had been jerking me around and pushing me out on the production schedule, but he said he'd check around and see if he could find a slot from another dealer. Looks like he was able to pull it off.

Now I can join the rest of you in grumbling about how My BMW won't accept the production number for 2016s yet...

Good to know. When is your car scheduled for production?

My BMW (or Owners Circle) is a few days behind anyways and it may not work until the 2016 3 series is officially on the main BMW USA site. Until then you can always call the 800 number thrice a day and speak to a representative to get the most up to date information.

BTW...found out this morning that my car has arrived at the port of exit, waiting to be assigned to a vessel.

Called the 800 number and it said I haven't been assigned a production time yet. My CA sent me an updated Vehicle Inquiry Report via e-mail with the production number, and it's showing an order status of 112 as of this morning... but priority is set to "2 - Center Own Use". Did they reassign a dealership demo car to my order?

Did the Vehicle Inquiry Report list your name as the customer?

Yes, so I think I'm ok... but I thought that was automatically supposed to bump it to Priority 1.

If the car is shipped with K-Line is there anyway of tracking it? Or that still falls under the WWL site?

My car was built mid June and isn't turning up anywhere ... maybe one of the unfortunate ones that doesn't come up on WWL or elsewhere.

Thx

Last time, my car was shipped on a K-Line vessel, while no one would confirm the name of the vessel, I was able to figure it out myself and track it using the ship tracking sites.

I believe, now BMW customer Service can confirm whivh vessel your car is on. If you car is on a WW vessel, you can go on their website and check if it is on one of their ships. Other than this, you will still have to use other methods to actually track the ship.

Marinetraffic.com enter the ship's name and track it from there. That works if the ship is close to shore.

What do you mean by non BMW customer service? Who do you ask for when you call in then?

I should have added that I have been checking daily like a mad man on the WWL tracking page and still nothing. Very odd.

Just wondering if there was anywhere else to put the vin # in regards to a boat besides wwl if it went k line for example.

It's coming to Toronto and even a member on here ran it on CN Rail to see if it was at least in Halifax and nothing yet. Bummer.

In the US, we have an 800# for BMW NA Customer Support (might be the same for Canada, try 800-831-1117). If you wait on the line long enough, you will find that this number has an automated system to enter the production number (or last 7 of VIN) and check status. This automated status check is typically lagging by a day or 2. After you hear the automated status update, you can select the option to speak to a customer service rep and ask for a status update.

Your client advisor has this info. They can pull up a vehicle inquiry report and it will show the name of the ship and the ETA.

Hmm maybe I should look for a new CA

"our system is showing that the vehicle is still marked as 95 shipped."

Hope you have a better experience than I had for my 2012 335i (SA build). I ordered it on March 31, Got a prod # on 4/25. It was built in 7/25. I didn't get it until 9/10. Much of the time it was in waiting for transport mode. It didn't help that the boat went from SA to Europe before going to NY harbor. Never again for me. I ordered my 2016 early and made sure it was Munich built. I ordered in mid-June and should get around Aug 5 or so.
