!!help!! 2016 f31 n20 481b03

So my car went into limp mode randomly while it had about 1/8 tank of fuel, shut off the engine and restart, everything was fine, then same thing happened again after about 10 miles and recorded codes:

481B03 Motor current too low
110001 Cylinder injection shutdown: catalyst protection due to too low
pressure in the fuel system

Then I refueled to full tank, everything went ok, went home, erased the code.
Till yesterday the tank was about 1/4 full, same thing and same code happened again.

Google pointing me to 3 things: HPFP, LPFP, EKPS, though one of the post who had similar issue, said Dorch technician told him/her quote: "Reached out to dorch engineering and they were very positive HPFP is not the reason (quote “HPFP issues are non-binary and do not get resolved by simply clearing the memory”) and that it was likely EKP or LPFP suggesting I diagnose them somehow and replace either of them."

I'm leaning toward replacing LPFP in the tank first as both time when it happened were at lower fuel level, and it's cheapest/quickest

Any suggestion/help is appreciated!!!

Thanks!

When you have more fuel in the tank the LPFP doesn't have to work as hard. But a clog in the system could be causing a vacuum situation in the tank, so you'd want to rule that out before swapping it out.

Thanks for your suggestion! But any idea how do I rule out the clog? Ordered new LPFP which will arrive this Thursday, will for sure remove the old one so I can pop open the fuel tank and take a look.
