Hello ,

I am thinking of changing my discs and pads at easter whilst on lockdown on my F30 320i , I am sure my front discs are 300mm although a lot of carpart websites are listing my car as having 312mm . My question is will the Bosch single piston caliper take the larger 312mm disc or am i stuck with 300mm ? i want to order everything for delivery then i don't have to go out .

If you need the 300mm then you'll have to order the 300mm as the calliper won't be in the correct position to accept the bigger disc.

But to make sure I'd take the wheel off and measure, 10 mins of work to save a headache of returning the wrong items and waiting again for replacements.

If you look on Euro Car Parts it shows the 300mm discs are for cars WITHOUT cruise control so you could be needing the 312mm.

I seem to remember that the size is stamped onto the edge of the discs, at least on genuine BMW ones

You might need a wire brush to clean the edge up but would remove any doubt as unless you've got some large engineers calipers or similar it isn't that easy to measure the disc diameter from the front accurately when you're only trying to see a difference of 12mm

Discs 104112018
Pads 101110988
Sensor 106111048

Use. Code payday and should be £128. If you don’t have any Ceratec grease get that too
