I used this and checked frequently this week when your car is built the date will be updated with the date it was finished being built. Mine said 0001-01-01 till today when I checked and it had yesterday's date. When I asked the dealer the told me the status code was now 9000 and be in transit for the port.

Woohoo - after a bit of fiddling around I finally found the latest 335d VIN as of NOW (or whenever those decoders get updated) - K468617. It seems there are exactly 20 to go and then it's mine

Excited doesn't even cut it!!

Haha I heard about that actually! Just had an idea for a tool that keeps checking your VIN and counts back to find out exactly when it's been built - like a countdown of cars in the queue - I might develop it!

Last year, I ordered mine Feb 05th or so and delivered June 10th.

I went through tons of vins, then called my dealer to let them know what vin and that my car was built.

So sad lol.

My 335d was 93 builds before this one and was finished and on route to port on 9/9/15, still sitting German side currently, looking at shipping schedules it will be docking in Southampton 23rd Sept at 7am.

Not sure if any of that helps, but thought I would let you know!

Woohoo the tracking paid off - the last VIN before mine just got a production date assigned so mine must be going through build/final assembly now!

I'm hoping to hit status 9000 tomorrow or Wednesday.

Anyone know if mine will go to Immingham rather than Southampton as I ordered from a Northern dealership?
