Personally I like the cleaner look, to each their own though some people love the badges I also have an xDrive which comes along with that horrible looking badge. I took off the badges on my second week of owning my car. Not so much trying to pretend like I have a bigger engine if you're familiar with f30's you can tell what's under the hood by what the tail pipes look like, unless they were modified of course.

I typically debadge all my cars as well; I just prefer the symmetrical, balanced clean look of the rear end. Having said that, I haven't been able to bring myself to remove the M2 badge on my current ride

I like the clean look also but just re badged in gloss black

One comment I had was that's a nice looking 320i and another was man she must go alright there's nothing better than a BMW straight 6.

Given I have neither of those I thought it best to re badge to avoid any confusion.

I have no obligation to tell people what model I'm driving.
And I have no obligation to advertise for BMW, especially for free.
I don't need no stinkin' badges!

So you take the BMW badge off too?

I keep my badges. Wear them with pride.

I puzzled a moment over this before I remembered that the F3x series introduced an inline four.

Of course. And those give-it-away kidney grills, too!
I like large holes in my car.
