You would need to buy another license. They are bound by VIN.

I don't think they'll come out with a stage 3, and if they do it will probably be an OTS ethanol map. Anything past stage 2, like a big turbo or something, requires custom tuning. And I believe you can only have one VIN registered to your license at a time, so I don't think you could tune your dad's car on your license, but I'm not sure. I would inquire with PTF about that.

EDIT: Didn't see Bunker respond, there ya go.

I need some verification. If my car is covered under a warranty (CPO) will the dealer see that I've flashed the car even if I flash it back to factory before having any work performed.

It depends. If they want to, they can pull up what are effectively datalogs from your car and see that it was tuned. They'll only do that if you're having serious work performed though. For things like a brake flush, oil change, general service etc. you're fine. If you're having your turbo replaced, they'll likely pull up that data and see it was tuned.

If you're modifying your car, be prepared to pay if it breaks, because the warranty becomes a slippery slope.

Question can you get burbles with a stock exhaust on a 320? I'm not getting anything which doesn't matter anyways since I'm changing it next to the 335 exhaust. But is it just me?

I think the cat is the main component for the burbles. Burbles involve some unspent fuel in the exhaust system and the cat just eats up the extra fuel, so I don't think it's recommended to have burbles because your cat will probably destroy itself eventually. Once you go catless you can most likely get some nice burbles.

Both the stock muffler and stock cat will kill burbles. Removing one or both will be an improvement, with cat removal being the most dramatic.

Can you do cat deletes in mass? Wouldn't that be straight pipe into muffler?

I'm not sure about emission laws in MA.

And yah sorry I kinda worded that wrong. Removing the cat will help, and upgrading rather than removing the muffler will help (a muffler delete will help too but won't sound good). You can really do whatever you want behind the cat, but in order to get actual burbles you really need to get rid of the cat.

i think i started getting the fault falling asleep 30b after updating to latest version of the wifi obd agent. do you have a wifi agent in the car that is always plugged in? if so, try unplugging it. check car again AFTER it had the opportunity to go to sleep.

my theory at the moment is that the latest version of the wifi agent prevents the car from falling asleep due to a high draw of current.

Cnoprea did you troubleshoot 801c15 error? did you try clearing code, unplugging the wifi agent and letting car go to sleep, then checking for error again?

Probably wouldn't be the end of the world, but your subjecting yourself to much higher risk of engine knock. I would play it safe and just load the stock or 91 octane map.
