it will fit without rubbing and will not cause issues to the x-drive transfer case, however the tire diameters are too small causing large fenderwell gap, speedo will indicate higher than actual and odometer will accrue more mileage than actually travelled.

225/40/19, 255/35/19 is oem staggered tire sizes for F3/4-series

picked them up. planning on black powder coat with replacement stock size tires going on.

questions
1. any recommendations for spacers to have them sit more flush?
2. the stock rears are supposed to be 8.5 inches wide, these are 9. will there be any noticeable stretch/decrease in diameter of the tire? If so, any recommendation on different size to decrease gap and not screw up x drive?

thanks!

if you're asking about a different tire size combination 235/40/19, 265/35/19 will help reduce the wheel gap.

figure out your spacer afterwards by measuring the distance from the upper tire shoulder to a vertical line from the fender edge to the ground. the distance will be what thickness of spacer you need.

fyi while spacers look nice, widening both front and rear track widths does not necessarily equate to better handling because increasing the rear track width will increase understeer, increasing front track width with spacer or lower wheel offset changes the front suspension geometry scrub radius. damper and spring rates are also affected as well as turning radius.

Mostly just concerned that the stock diameter/width rear tire will be a bit too small stretched onto a 9" wide rim when that size is meant for an 8.5. Dont want to go super beefy but want to keep the aspect ratio under 1% difference if that makes sense.

will do on the spacers. makes sense.

thanks for all your great advice

those poor wheels.. i would have kept them machined/silver. Now they just look like any other black blob of a wheel going down the road.

I was on the fence but they had a fair bit of curb rash and i live in a small town with no wheel refinisher so powder coat was my only option. fortunately i quite like how they turned out.
