Intercooler (F30/N55)

Okay all .. ordered a new intercooler through ARM was hella excited to install it and my charge pipe this weekend.. only got the charge pipe on ... the intercooler didn't fit, there was about 3 inches between the intercooler and the two pipes it connects to.. attached a poof the new intercooler (it's the gold one) and then attached a picture of that I THINK the shape of the intercooler should be.. am I wrong or did I miss something on installing?[IMG][/IMG]

The box should have some adapter hoses that are attached to the inter-cooler.

Did you buy it new or used? Did you get all the parts included?

Also is the CP multiple pieces or just 1?

Bought new from the distributor.. emailed them and you're correct so they're sending the adapters out.. thanks cause I thought I was loosing my mind for a second

It looks like, from the photos you posted, that this IC doesn't have the tabs to hold the fan shroud in place? That, plus the strange inlet/outlet adapters, seems like a odd/inferior design to most other ICs. Although i guess the large frontal area similar to ER is a plus.

I think that most people avoid the ARM design and go for the stepped design without adapters.

They didn't send me adapters with mine either, but I did also purchase their charge pipe and turbo outlet pipe. Love the gold though
