Ceramic Coating VS Detailing Co$t
Ceramic Coatings look great but are they really worth the cost?
Been quoted $2500+ for CQuartz Finest Reserve on a new car with 5yr warranty. Been quoted $120-200 for full detail with polish and wax ((2500/200 =12)/2) =6 yrs |

I think ceramic coating is a rip off. Contemplated it really hard for a long time before I decided against it.
If I were to buy a brand new car tomorrow, I would get PPF installed on the front ($500 max) and purchase a high quality sealant and mediocre DA ($100 for both) that I would plan to get real acquainted with. If you use a good sealant once every couple months (maybe 2 hours work)... and a spray wax/dry every wash in between... your paint will be like butter. If your not sure what I mean you should try it! Professional tier coatings - I constantly see Modesta as being the best. Any reason why you're interested in CQuartz Finest?
If you're able to paint correct a car on your own, you can easily apply and maintain your own consumer grade coating such as CQuartz UK 3.0 + maintenance sealant for ~$60. Although, if you're willing to spend that much money, you might as well PPF the whole car. |

Unless you plan to put your car on a museum in the future...then go for it. But most of us here keep car for 3 yrs or the most 7 to 8 yrs. Wax, polish and sealant worth $100 worth plus $50 on towels etc....do it every 6 month. Those bottles stored on a good place last forever....they will be there for 10 years.....lol
All 3 every 6 months Sealant every month |

I have ceramic pro, the silver package. It was a first time for me, and while it do appreciate the quality of the product, I've noticed that it is starting to be minimally hydrophobic after a year's time now. BUT...it comes with warranty, and I plan to have it reapplied/refreshed shortly here. The reason why I went with it? Time. Detailing a car correctly, takes at least half the day. On a white car, for me...its a time saver, and I like having it on the car. It makes washing and maintenance of the car VERY quick. Just my 2cents. I have clear bra on the full front end. I also got a package deal through a buddy when I did everything together...so it was worth it for me, personally.
