F32 Lowering Springs on xdrive staggered

Hello guys, I drive a 2017 BMW 440i xDrive Coupe currently riding with a custom 437m wheels staggered set up. I know that having a staggered set up on an xDrive is already complicated as it is and there is only a specific way to do it right to avoid any issues. I want to know if installing lowering springs will be an issue with my staggered set up or if it won’t matter at all as long as I buy the right springs for xdrives. Besides my staggered set up, everything else is stock in my car.

This is a very helpful thread to read if lowering xDrive vehicle. There is an increased risk of front axle (half shaft) failing. As always, everyone's mileage may vary.

Incidentally, are 437M wheels OEM?

Thank you for your reply! Yes the 437m is OEM. My car currently have 67k miles. The front axle failing, is that due to having staggered set up plus lowering springs or is that something everyone is risking just for having lowering springs no matter the wheel set up?

General consensus is not to lower X-Drive more than 1.5" to avoid issues with the front axles.

Thank you! Not trying to do anything crazy just want to close some gaps from wheel to fender. I just want to know if having a staggered setup on xdrive will cause an issue with lowering springs.
