Realized I had enough 3M 2080 carbon fiber wrap to do some of the trim pieces. I'm planning on getting actual carbon trim at some point, but an axle back was bumped up before cosmetics. It came out alright. At first glance it looks good but there are spots that I could have done better.

Anyone have a recommendation for a reasonably price roof box (US)?

Using on an F31

Also do you use the BMW cross bars?

Thanks!

Had my car professionally detailed last Friday. First time for this car and it made a huge difference. The car looks great. They were able to remove a couple of scuffs on the gloss black trim on the b pillar on each side of the car. Had my daily driver detailed last October by the same company and I was thrilled with the work on that vehicle as well. My buddy is taking his vehicle in tomorrow for a detail job there too.

Prepared diffuser for painting. Had to trim a little bit in order to make clearance for the tow bar. Had to carve a little in the connector as well. Touched the middle "wing" by a millimetre or so in unfolded position. Turned out great tho and it's nothing that's going to be noticeable at all!

Leaving the car at the shop next week to get my dual exhaust installed and the diffuser + side skirt extensions painted. Can't wait!

Took the opportunity and painted the tow bar black aswell, to make it less noticeable under the diffuser when folded in.

I "blacked out" my tow bar as well as I hated how it shows underneath.
Used matte black though.

Looks good. My Neighbour has an X3M and has a hidden tow bar… ingenius… I can't wait to see him towing a trailer in a M car!

Brake fluid flush. That's when I found a nail in a tire. No loss in tire pressure though.

Finally bought a pressure washer and foam cannon. Did a quick detail. First time using a Griots synthetic "clay bar" too and highly impressed. Was two small areas that looked like the clear coat was ruined and nothing I did fixed it, polish etc. the clay bar worked it out completely so it was top surface level. Still not sure what it was.

Had a nail in mine, all the way down to the tread and I was working on my car so I had them off when I discovered it.

Was rolling them down to my drive way to give them a good clean from the brake dust and I hear small psssh from the nail popping out

Problem was, with the tire plug kit I had the stickies were way too large, I'd have to expand the hole to fix it. Luckily the kit had these black pin looking things so I stuck it in and took it to my local discount tire to plug it up the next morning

Been driving on it since, about 500 miles and no issues but man such a tiny thing for a big issue lol

I've got the dws 06's and they're still pretty new. Didn't want to get new tires just yet lol!

Spark plug change @39750 miles. I started noticing a little buzz at idle, honestly kind of typical of what you’d expect from four cylinders. I remembered not feeling the engine at all when I bought it, so out they came.

Assembly line installed NGKs.

Looking at them, I felt like the change was too premature. But, I can’t argue with the results. I can again only feel the faintest tremors through the steering wheel, and power delivery feels smoother.

A few weeks ago but finally got around to installing springs and getting my f33 xDrive down to a less "monster truck" height.

Enabled my rear fog lights finally. Did the coding yesterday and modified the button today. Very straightforward modification.
