Full Power LED DRL w/ headlights on LCI

Hey all, Iíve tried coding different thing on my 2018 F30. All have worked so far except for full brightness DRLs with headlights on. Iíve tried expert mode, and the option listed is MAPPING_STANDL_V_L_PWM_LEVEL_1 which is not an option I can find in BimmerCode. Here are my options that are relatively close, I tried the reduced one but it didnít do anything...

First of all, i have to say that i hope you don't want to drive around like this because the DRLs dazzle the oncoming vehicles at full brightness.
And then your values are for the parking light (in german "Standlicht").

They aren't that bright, much better than all the people here in the states that have ebay LED bulbs in their lifted trucks blinding you. I've had them on with my headlights off driving down my street because my headlights shine in my neighbors windows, and just by themselves they are not that bright.

Also, I don't exactly understand what you mean by my values are for the parking light?

MAPPING_STANDL is the coding value for parking lights
MAPPING_TAGFAHRL is the coding value for dayrunning lights

Thank you, I tried scrolling further and found options for TAGFAHRL, it had the PWM_1 and had a value of 8. I changed it to 64 but unfortunately that too did nothing? Any idea what it may be under?

I didnĎt test it, but i found these values.

MAPPING_TAGFAHRL_V_L_PWM_LEVEL_1
MAPPING_TAGFAHRL_V_R_PWM_LEVEL_1

They both should have Werte=32
And you can try Werte=64

Yeah those are the ones I tried. Their value was 8 and I changed it to 64 and nothing changed for me.

I think atzebmw's point is that DRLs are designed to be seen in full sunlight, and throw the light in every direction from the front of the car. They don't look that bright from the drivers seat, because they aren't focussed the way that headlights are, but it hurts to look at DRLs when someone has them on in darkness. Maybe people with ebay LEDs are a problem, but do you want to be like them?

I've gotten out to see what they look like from about 100 yards on my street, they aren't that blinding at night. I at least would like to try, and if it is bad, I'll revert them back. I just don't like the washed out half power look with the low beams on.

The easiest step to do this on LCI cars are:

Changing parameters of POLI1_Idx, POLI2_Idx and POLI3_Idx in both FLEs from

01, 01, 01, 01, 01, 01, 04, 01, 01, 01

to

01, 01, 01, 01, 01, 01, 03, 01, 01, 01
