I'm sure gains are similar on the B58 and catted is def the way to go on a B58....

What other mods are installed? Tune, Tuner, Air Filter, etc.?

I'm glad you are enjoying your purchase. I just wanted to make it clear that the VRSF bolts right up without issue

So you can run the catted downpipe on a b58 without a tune for it safely without affecting air fuel ratios or anything? And no check engine light just more flow and power? Coming from the Subaru world intakes, downpipes, etc. all needed a specific tune to adjust.

You guys are coming out with a different version of your catted downpour correct? What will the difference be and what price range are you considering? Looking into Fabspeed due to the guaranteed no error, but 1200 is not worth 20hp for my daily needs.

Me too. 5 years in subi world and retune after almost all mods.....LOL

How does adding this downpipe not effect the AFR? I am all ears

I am curious about the same, but it wont matter too much since I already purchased and am going to install the VRSF which is 200 cell I believe.

ETA on your install?

I am just wondering whether 200 cell is a good compromise (even if it is a no name brand catt, like HJS and GESI catts) between catted "high flow" DP and catless, code out the fault, and smell is not obnoxious obvious. But then again, whether a lower quality catt can cause any other issue being noted by others.

I wish I knew! ECS has delayed my shipping a few times now. Supposed to have already shipped. I think the Valvetronic exhaust I bought with the DP and CP is having some delays. I wish they would ship my DP separately. I have CEL on staring at me with P02420.

Is anyone able to confirm if the F series VRSF Catted/Catless Downpipe is the same size as the G series VRSF downpipe?? I've seen some people sell it for the 2017+ F series 340/440/540 but they have the G series downpipe. Could you install the G series downpipe on the f series?

I'm looking at their web sites the SKUs are different between the F and G series DP (catted) between Gen1 and Gen2 B58s.

Thanks.

Yeah, so i found out that my HJS cats in my full Supersprint setup in the other two cars are running 200 cell (race) cats, now, i have something tangible to related to. Yeah, i do smell after driving (hard) and pull in to the garage, and stopped with windows rolled down. But i've lived with that since 2003 and 2004.

Done, 200 cells.

Now comes the weird part, if folks can keep me honest. And i'm still searching and finding bits and pieces of data on catalyst readiness and as relates to drive cycle.

The car's current DP, AA 400 cell DP throws no CEL, and pulling readiness codes, the catalyst readiness code is set, and drive cycle done. Good to go, get the North Carolina emission done.

Now, with 200 cell VRSF DP, i imagine it "will" throw catalyst DTC. Hopefully not, but if it does then that catalyst DTC code P0430 (???) "will" prevent me from completing the drive cycle, right?

Or, say my drive cycle was already complete and didn't have to go through again after swapping 400 cell for 200 cell VRSF DP, but the catalyst DTC is popping up, that can be easily disabled. And does disabling that means now the catalyst readiness is complete?

Trying to relate these 3 things together,

a) completing drive cycle
b) catalyst readiness
c) catalyst DTC

Why is this damn confusing???!!!

Also, how is this $479.00 retail price of catted VRSF, even possible, WITH lifetime warranty?

Is this also the case of you get what you paid for?

Anyone know why some complaints that the v-band comp was not included? Isn't the clamp reusable? I can understand you want to put on a new gasket.

Life time warranty is probably for the welds. Highly doubt the high flow cat is covered under warranty. Local guy blew out his cat with burbles set on soft with a duration of only 0.5 seconds and they didn't even replace the down-pipe so he just rocked it cat-less after that.

Never mind, in North Carolina,

Acceptable limit of "not ready" monitors are:

(1) - for all 2001 and newer model year vehicles
