435d now with Intercooler

Had my 435d mapped 8 months ago to 392bhp but last week had the Wagner comp intercooler added and tweak to map to suit. now running 575 ftlb torque and nearly 409bhp. i find the pull is much longer lasting and doesn't drop off so fast when going for it. happy with feel of increase and figures, still no smoke DPF still intact. Thought id post as few others thinking of this mod. NOTE The red figure is pre intercooler the blue line is with updated map and intercooler.

Great result and a useful increase!

Nice!

Who did the remap? So just remap plus intercooler is this?

I maybe need to get myself re-remap!

Diesel remapping for 330d and 335d seems to have found quite a bit more power since the first couple of years of them.

A bit more than I expected, but still an expensive mod for 16bhp. How much? £700?

I would have thought it will make more difference in the warmer weather too.

Yeah Charlie at SRR said the maps now seemed to be more refined and producing more power than a couple of years ago.

You're not reading the correct axis to the corresponding trace.

408bhp and ~580lbft.

its not just 16bhp its the way the map runs it holds the torque for long time and torque way up on standard along whole rev range plus 16bhp is decent increase as well, and very noticeable when driving.

Looking at the graph the torque Starts to drop off at around the same point as it did on the previous map before you changed the intercooler? obviously the torque and power levels are a little higher than before (you've gained 16bhp) but the torque curve doesn't start dropping any later than before (further up the rev range) on your graph, both torque lines on the graph start dropping off at around 3600rpm. Cheers

Good numbers but I was surprised by your first post, 375lbft, as a 320d makes 380 !!

oh believe me you notice it. yes it held power before with 1st map, but much more agressive now. if you think not noticeable then dont go for an IC, very different to drive than look at a graph online.
