Is it normal for the oil temperature of a BMW 328i F30 to reach 120 degrees Celsius?
Hello, I just bought a 2015 BMW 328i with the N20 engine.
While driving on the highway at speeds of 100-120 km/h for around 1 hour, I noticed the oil temperature gauge reaching 120 degrees Celsius (250°F). The previous owner recently replaced the intercooler, front water pipe, thermostat, and coolant. He says that everything is in good condition and that it's normal for the temperature to be high, but I'm a bit worried. Is 120 degrees Celsius okay for the N20 engine? |
