Never below 15mpg if I'm driving very "sportily" in Sport Mode. Don't use Sport+ very much. On long trips with two people, luggage and a full spare, driving as fast as traffic and radar detector will allow in Comfort mode, consistently get 29mpg. |

2014 335xi (using xDelete though) 8AT, MHD Stage 1. I'm mostly city and I drive pretty spirited so I get 16-19mpg usually. I do notice the total range of the tank increased when I did xDelete but I haven't really calculated how much it improves.

I like it when this thread pops up so I can brag, boast, and puff my chest.
Overall since new.....71 mpg. I do play around in Sport mode occasionally. This tank........went 310 miles on about 3 gallons out of my whopping 10 gallon tank. The calculator says 103 mpg. The car says 86 mpg. We'll see in a month or two when I go to the gas station to fill up. I hope to beat 85 overall, this tank.

Old thread revival. Drove from Chicago to Milwaukee yesterday. Filled up about 25 miles before Milwaukee and put in a container of Techron. 25 more miles to Milwaukee, just a few miles in Milwaukee, then back on the road to Chicago and a few miles in Chicago. 100 miles total. I-94 between Milwaukee and Chicago is a little like an American autobahn, four lanes in each direction, very little congestion, flat as a board. 85 - 90 all the way (briefly up to 95) almost no braking and almost no slowing down for traffic = 30.7 mpg. For the speed I was pretty impressed.
Normally in very stop and go all Chicagoland city street driving I average just under or just over 19 mpg, which I am quite happy with.
