I have a problem, its a f36 from 2014 with (original business) retrofit nbt and connected 3ag. I checked the wiring en plus and negative ok

fbas + from 2 tvrsc to 21 nbt
fbas - from 3 tvrsc to 24 nbt
shield from 4 tvrsc to 23 nbt

kcan h from 5 tvrsc to 52 fem
kcan l from 6 tvrsc to 51 fem

Tvrsc, nbt and fem are coded with 3ag and the tvrsc cafd is added to

Problem is when he activates the rear camera in the kombi it says rear view cam defect and the screen on nbt is black. When you open the trunk the screen on nbt is as it should be. Any idea what the problem can be?

is this cause of the fact that business cant have a rear cam and if yes is there a sollution?

Coded 3ag to nbt, fem, rem and trsvc and yes injectet cafd in trsvc.

I have no clue what the problem is, changed trsvc, cam and hsd wire. Problem stays the same.

everything is connected and coded correctlly so it should work but it doesnt.

The only thing i can think of is maybe the cause is that the car originally had entrynav and bmw says with business 3ag is not possible.

Did that allready, last time (friday) i used ista it gave 800BA9

Then he let an italian (yesterday) where he bought parts check and he used another program and then there was no fault to see but same result

you don't need to understand italian, you can look up the faults by the code, but all the faults there have nothing to do with the rear cam (cause i checked it)

And even when you change the fbas wires (snwo screen) the fault on the kombi stays the same and says camera defect

I notice in the BMW diagram that the video cable and the fuse cable needs to be run on the driver and passenger side respectively, not on the same side.

Is there a particular reason why the fuse cable and video cable needs to be separated? Will the fuse cable give an interference to the video cable? Can i run them both on the same side?

I'm researching this retrofit and just have a few questions....my F30 is an LCI 2018/02 and I understand that everything in the retrofit kit will connect/work all fine except for potentially the FEM pins 51 & 52 as there was a change to the FEM from 07/2017 onwards...if the wires are there then fine I can wire-tap these but if not here are my questions.

1) If pins 51 & 52 are empty I know I can get pins and add them in but how do I know that there are wires on the backend for the KCAN?
2) Is the alternative to use A173*7B pins 33 & 34? I have auto climate control....if these are the alternative wires for the KCAN I'm assuming I just wire-tap them as per the original instructions for 51 & 52

Would anyone have any thoughts on best option for the cables below? Car is a 04/2016 RHD lci F31. Was going to install the TRSVC in rear and use the F10 cables below.

F10 retrofit cable set - Ebay Link

But have come across on Ebay a set with the long HSD and what looks like a 3rd party/home made harness for around the same price - Ebay link

Would anyone have concerns using this rather than OEM?
It doesn't look like it includes cable taps or all connectors, so would have to get pins for the 12v power and a ground end loop. I think I will need to get pins for the Kcan wires on either kit to fit to the FEM as there might not be kcan wires to tap i.e. no oem trailer hitch.

I also have a general query on the official BMW retrofit instructions. If I place TRSVC in the oem location can I run the power cable back along the HSD to the rear fuse box? Instructions show running it back the passenger side but don't think it would make a difference and save removing trim on both sides of the car?

Hey atzebmw , sorry to hijack the thread but would this be the codes to use on an X3 F25 LCI (2016) as those don't use the separate module? I'm retrofitting using the OEM retrofit kit.
