[MHD Tuning]

Some results and numbers we want to share with you guys from our upcoming MHD ST2+HPFP OTS map by PureBoost for the Gen 1 B58 cars.

As many of you know, the Gen 2 B58 (Supra / Z4) has a stronger high pressure fuel pump from factory, this pump can be retrofitted pretty easily to the gen 1 cars and unlock some room for more power. We are nearly done with the maps and expect the public release in 7-14 days, it will be a free update for the ST2 map pack.

The power gain across the complete power band is pretty impressive and the performance numbers are simply incredible.

One of our beta tester customers managed to break the B58 1/4 mile stock turbo world record in his M140i X-Drive running the ST2+ HPFP E30 map, only mods are downpipe, B58TU1 HPFP & Spark Plugs and XHP Flashtool ST3

1/4 Mile 10.72s @ 128MPH
100-200 KPH in 6.9s
0-100 KPH in 3.0s
0-60 MPH in 2.87s
Dynojet: 522HP / 743NM

Those are some crazy numbers/times for an OTS map!!! How much more do you think one could make on a custom tune?

Does the upgraded fuel pump sense with good old 93 or does it just make a difference when one adds E?

"free update for Stage 2 Map Pack", does this also include the E30 Map Pack? I have both.

Is this only for HDP6 HPFP, what about the other HPFP options e.g. Dorch, XDI, Spool etc?

Looks like about 20 - 21 PSI boost from 2700 RPM through to 6000 RPM then tapering based on the torque plot in the dyno chart.

Mhd currently supports dorch pump and I believe also xdi. I've been beta testing this with dorch stage one pump, works perfectly.

Guys, you run out of octane before HPFP on stock turbo/hpfp already. Increasing hpfp capacity will not change the octane of 93.

You guys should join the whatsapp group. They've discussed a lot of these details since they were in early beta.

- Any pump that flows more than the TU pump will work with this tune. If you have a bigger pump, you can always opt for a custom tune for more boost or higher ethanol content
- These gains are on E30. Gains on 93/98ron are expected to be ~40hp less, and there are no gains on 91/95ron
- They are going to also try E40 and see if there is additional room for more power before releasing it to the public

So with 93 you're still looking at ~480whp?

Lol it's really the best way to get quick feedback, and a lot of people across the pond can comment on the way they do things that we wouldn't do. The fastest guys post in there consistently as they dial in their setups.

I think he's saying that there are still gains to be had, which there are. Just not as much as E30. They will do additional dyno runs to verify, but that's their estimation.

They also said you can probably run the E30 map with 93+meth, but you'd have to log and dial in the meth system.
