It's interesting when i did add more ethanol to the 95 map it did help but it also gave me a lean code which i don't love....

This is strange even if you added 3 gallons it's on E21, I tried Stage 2 95 with E30 mix and it worked fine no codes.

Does your fuel already contain Ethanol ? but yeah don't run it with a lean code.

P.S. I read that Boostane also messes up with the cat and O2 sensors.

Yep, 10% ethanol but i account for that in the calculator. I'm stubborn though and i'm gonna keep trying combinations.

I'm running a CTS cat (not that expensive, worst case i'll replace it). 02's yep, i've read that...

The reality, i accepted a looong time ago i have a problem and that problem is i like to mod cars and therefore there are risks...
I've read it's a good additive to use with ethanol, acts as a conditioner for the fuel, who knows. I do know that it has a positive impact on knock and misfires.
Bottom line is it works and IF it offers some protection from more expensive repairs due to knock for instance, play on!!!

Since you have a TU, why not just run an E30 map?

BMW says it can be used and that's the only fuel I got here.

Local guy was boosting about 22 psi on a stock turbo before it popped and threw a ton of metal inside his intake manifold and motor.

Yeah unfortunately his engine was toasted after that. It had a rough idle from the metal making it's way inside the engine. They had to replace it with a used one and it was not covered under warranty.

Didn't the MHD Stage 2 HPFP E40 target 21-22 Psi as well?
I found it scary when I saw the log…

Yeah both MHD and BM3 HPFP maps produce around 20-21 psi.

We always knew the risk of frying a turbo but turbo shattering into the engine is next level scary.

That's a well known failure condition by turbos. With clearly catastrophic consequences.

I just looked at my old BM3 Stage 2+ E30 map datalog. It definitely hit 23-24 psi at times. I ran that for nearly a year with little issue.

Never heard of a turbo shattering and making it's way into the engine before.
