FYI, if you had downloaded the v2.3 maps on Jan 27th, they seemed to have pushed an update to them between then and Jan 29th. (check your MyMaps to see if it's flagged for an update).

The "new" 2.3 map is a beast. Better power delivery and drivability than the initial 2.3 map.

I couldn't get wheelspin, but it has dried up and is decently warm lately, so no wet / snowy pavement to really put it through it's paces.

Strange, all maps under OTS maps say 27th Jan when I check. No updates on any of them.

The released all the updates again the 27th. Originally the note was something like "fixed traction control issues".

Nope, mine still look exactly the same as before, note just says 'customROM update for TCU torque management/handling'

I might reflash tomorrow just to see if there is any difference but can't see any sign of an update.

Yea, that's the newest release. Right before that, they released updates with a note saying the fixed traction control. Almost seemed like they changed it because it'd be admitting they broke it?

They had the same date/text when I looked previously, but must have been updated between when I grabbed mine early Jan 27th.

When you go to your maps, click on the one you did "last flash" on, it will either have a "there are no updates to this map at this time" or a "there is an update, go to OTS --(something like that)

I wasn't fond of the first release. The later one was back to 2.2 power. When you lay into it in 1st, it does start of lower power, and then rapidly accelerates. Obviously they weren't happy with what got uploaded first. No clue...

I too have found taht they seem to have re-released version 2.3 with different patch notes. Haven't tried it yet but downloading it now, will flash before I drive home.

I agree with R44's assessment, the TC does feel a little different and more like it is pulling power (but keeping turbo spooled) than applying the brakes or something. On the original 2.3 it can feel kinda jarring when you really punch it, but at least its working so I'm satisfied enough.

Will let oyu guys know what I think of the latest 2.3. Haven't heard anything from support since they pushed the original 1/27 update.

I may go back to 2.2 since I didn't have TC issues that I might be having now. On 2.3 Stg 2+. Was pulling out of gas station, some snow along the dip in sidewalk, traction control kicked in and cut throttle. As I let off the gas and let the car roll into the street and got back on it, complete loss of power but rpm's spiked. But the wheels weren't spinning nor should there have been traction issues since I was now in the road that was clear. It's almost as if there was a complete lag in TC turning off when it wasn't needed anymore.

It finally snowed again, so I went out at lunch. I'd 100% agree with your description of operation. Once it slips if you decided you still want to floor it, it's not the smoothest journey, but it does stop the revs from spiking. Once it does hook up, it takes off pretty hard.

It does seem to handle drifts more like OEM though (throttle cut and stability intervention).

"Updated" 2.3 (the one that doesn't mention a TC fix in the patch notes) is my favorite tune so far, and I've been on everything from 2.0 to 3 test maps they made while creating this latest 2.3.

Latest 2.3 actually seems to address something I had pointed out to Halim a few hours before they launched the first 2.3 - low end power delivery had been really weird, felt like the turbo hit you like a brick at 1800 rpms or so, which.. usually if I'm at 1800 rpms, I dont' really want a turbo brick sandwhich ya know? so it had been really herky jerky

Latest 2.3 sorted out that low rpm turbo spike. Power delivery is super crispy and smooth throughout. Tons of low end torque. TC is working very well, Sport+ is working PHENOMENALLY, was driving like a goon last night and having so much fun slinging the rear end into corners

So, the latest 2.3 patch (that does not mention TC in patch notes) is a great success IMO, very very happy with it. As always pleased with PTF for prompt service and attention.

I do kinda think they have an obligation to send an email or something to customers warning them about the 2.2 map though, I would really hate for an inexperienced driver to hurt themselves or others because they floor it into an 8 way intersection thinking tc will keep them tame. Just some kinda "beware, increased torque on 2.2 map can cause traction control to perform more poorly than oem" so they aren't explicitly admitting liability but at least making the info available to everyone.

Cuz I'll tell ya what that first time I tried to take off from a stoplight and ended up smoking the tires in comfort mode was a bizarre experience lmao

TC is completely fixed. Fresh snow in Toronto right now. Driving home on the original stage 1 93 map, tires would easily spin out. TC barely worked and the revs just took over too easily.

Flashed current multimap stage 1, huge improvement. Going straight, tc is way more involved. Can of course get spinning by hammering the gas. When turning with all wheels slipping it cuts power quickly.

Everyone on the old update should be updating imo.

So glad this is fixed!

Yep that's the one. I'm running stage 1 multimap. Same version code.

Strongly recommend everyone flash to latest 2.3 map, it is very, very good.

Last night, I couldn't really tell you why, but I decided to try holding the cruise control speed switch down (steering wheel left hand side toggle switch) and it sent my tachometer to 1000 regardless of actual revs, and would hold it there until I manually downshifted. Anyone have any idea what that is about? Would that be related to bm3 or is that some sort of stock feature? I seriously couldn't tell you why I tried it lmao but it was very bizarre.

Did you tune BM3 with multimap???
I think that is what i do to select one of the 4 map from it.
If not the case you might have experienced “the anti-lag” option.

That sounds like you loaded the multimap. When you hold the resume button for 3 seconds, it enters the map switch mode. Using the cruise up/down will toggle between the maps (map1=1000rpm, ... map4=4000rpm)

Sounds like you are in the ACN91 octane map. You'd probably want map2 (2000 RPM) unless you have that lower grade fuel.

Hmmm. I am not flashed to a multi-map but the 2.3 map does mention having CustomROM enabled, so I wonder if me holding the button down is it "trying" to switch maps but cuz I only have one map loaded it always goes to map 1 cuz.. there aren't any other maps. Thanks for the suggestions friends

The customROM does have anti-lag enabled through the cruise buttons as well.

Same here, just flashed from 2.2 to 2.3.
Both shows custom ROM.
I didn’t notice it on 2.2 (I may never tried… can’t remember)
But I have the same as you on 2.3.

It’s not Anti-Lag, I tried keeping it for 3 seconds then floor it while pressing with no success.
So I have no idea what is it…
