How can I get speed limit info on hud?

Hi my f30 got this idrive sytstem, I think it's NBT EVO as I did the research via google lol.
The system and navigation map looks like this.(screenshots from google image, same as mine)
Name: maxresdefault.jpg
Views: 2326
Size: 105.6 KB
Name: Maps.jpg
Views: 2121
Size: 467.3 KB
Name: s-l500.png
Views: 2127
Size: 215.0 KB

However, the problem is I don't have any speed limit info on my HUD.
like this below
Name: maxresdefault (1).jpg
Views: 2163
Size: 79.2 KB
I got everything else (those navigation, lanes, arrows etc.) but only without the speed limit one.

What should I do to retrofit this speed limit info on my hud?
I am thinking maybe just a map upgrade would do the trick?
Thanks!

I believe all you would need is the KAFAS camera (the one near your rear view mirror) and the VO code to enable the feature.

This thread goes into it if you don't want to add KAFAS. https://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1203393

Used this myself. Basically you just buy a speed limit info emulator, which reads the map data that already has speed limits in it, and shows it in the HUD and Speedo.

I only got these on my menu.
Made a few request to bmw shops, they said their SLI modules only intake info from navigation maps instead of KAFAS. looks like theirs are emulators.

is "VO code to enable the feature" means using bimmercode to enable it?

You may be able to code it via Bimmercode, but I'm not sure where to start. I'm assuming multiple modules would need to be coded to support it like the cluster, head unit and FEM so you would probably need someone that knows how to do more advanced coding with Esys to enable the feature.

Have you tried checking mdecoder dot com or a similar VIN decoder site and plug in your VIN to see if you have "speed limit information" already?

Is there a solution to display which gear you're in on the HUD? I have it in the gauge cluster but that would be even better.

Huge thanks!
I think the hardware is okay but might require some advanced coding.
found this video doing the same trick.

By installing an M Kombi and related hardware. Otherwise not possible.
