This is done all the time. You need to make sure that Firewall and Virus is disabled both on the Mac and the Windows VM, and that the Mac LAN Adapter is bridged to the Windows Virtual LAN Adapter.

And of course, car motor needs to be running, and E-Sys Connection window must be showing the Connection Targets.

Hi everyone, please help to understand right order of coding "angel eyes". F30 328i with xenon. What I have:
“A” – depends on light conditions: day – "angel eyes" as DRL front, bright; night - "angel eyes" as parking lights front and back, dimmed.
“0” - "angel eyes" as DRL front, bright
“parking lights” - "angel eyes" as parking lights front and back, dimmed.
“low beam” - "angel eyes" as parking lights front and back, dimmed plus low beam xenon lights
What I want:
“A” – depends on light conditions: day – "angel eyes" as DRL front; bright, night - "angel eyes" as parking lights front and back, but bright as DRL.
“0” - "angel eyes" as DRL front, bright (with option to turn it off in i-drive to no lights at all)
“low beam” - "angel eyes" as parking lights front and back, bright as DRL plus low beam xenon lights
Simply saying I want "angel eyes" bright with my low and hi beam in “A” and “low beam” mode. And if it’s possible have option to turn any lights off in “0” mode. I don’t want "angel eyes" in parking lights mode bright as DRL.
What I found:
VO Coding:
• Option 8TM = (Front Only) Day Running Lights
• Option 8TN = (Front) DRL's with IDrive Toggle
• Option 8TL = Front & Rear DRL's
FDL Coding (DRL_MODUS):
• nicht_aktiv = 00 (DRL disabled)
• drl_h = 01 (via highbeam, halogen U.S. without lights)
• drl_l = 02 (via low beam)
• drl_s = 03 (front & rear; U.S. Xenon/LED (rings + bottom))
• tfl_s = 04 (front & rear; ECE Xenon/LED (rings + bottom))
• tfl_ece = 05 (North Country Comfort)
• drl_s_ohne_sl = 06 (US; ohne = without, SL = taillight)
• tfl_s_ohne_sl = 07 (ECE; ohne = without, SL = taillight)
FEM_BODY 3062 MAPPING_STANDL_V_L_PWM_LEVEL_1
FEM_BODY 3062 MAPPING_STANDL_V_R_PWM_LEVEL_1
If I get it right, I need to VO code 8TN instead 8TM (which blocks I need to code with this option)? How I should FDL code DRL_MODUS and FEM_BODY 3062 MAPPING_STANDL_V_L_PWM_LEVEL_1. And last one, is it possible to code rear fog lights on in reverse?

I've done the xenon retrofit to my car and I am having the hardest time coding them in. I was able to add 522 and 524 to VO but when it comes to FDL coding, it will not accept the changes. The error log returns back no errors but when i go to read VCM again, I can see that the changes did not take affect. I have tried injecting new CAFD but still no luck. I just bought a brand new laptop yesterday in order to run esys and am running 3.27.1 and launcher 2.8.0 build 143, laptop is an Acer core i7 win 10 64 bit, 8gb ram.

And for FDL Coding, you are using "Code FDL", and not "Code"?

If you change parameter value, save it, then then "Code FDL", when you go back and read ECU, that parameter should have new value.

Yes, but for some reason after i code FDL and read ECU, it never saved. Have you seen an error like this before?

If you have error during Code FDL, then no, it won't be saved. I have no idea why you have this error though.

So Iíve been doing some research as to why I might not be able to code my fem_body. It looks like it may have to do with a missing cafd file due to psdzlite trimming after version 54? From what I read you may have been able to hep source the missing cafd file. Is that something you could possibly help me with? I would really appreciate any help at all. Thanks!

Missing CAFD has nothing to do with Trimmed CAFD. They are completely unrelated issues.

If you are missing a CAFD, either ECU would show no CAFD in SVT / ECU List, or ECU has CAFD but you are missing the corresponding CAFD in your PSdZData, in which case you would have a "[CO12] Missing CAFD" error when trying to Read ECU.

Do you have either scenario? I don't think so. I think your ECU has CAFD, and you have the matching CAFD in your PSdZData, and you have a "requestOutOfRange" error when coding ECU.

My dealer has just updated the ASD module, Is v.4.11.20_PSdZData_Lite the latest version because I get an error when trying to read BDC?
Other CAFD's are read OK.

PM sent. You only need to udpate PSdZData if car already has higher version than 63.3 on it, or if you want to flash it to something higher than 63.3.
