I know the 335i will be poor lease coming out... but how much will a 60,000 bmw 335i lease out on the high end? Who knows, could be as much as 900 perhaps? |

I know that BMW feel you're talkin about. I still remember how my E46 325i drove and how much I liked the interior's styling. When BMW says it's not just about numbers, I know what they mean. |

The other question on the minds of many is the question of whether or not the new 335i's interior is as luxurious as the 5 series. Maybe some of the weight of the 5 series has to do with heavier materials that make the interior nicer? Just a thought...

Good debate on this issue.
A friend with a new F10 was over last night. We talked about this very thing. As he accurately pointed out, today's 5 is as big as yesterdays 7, and today's 3 as big as yesterday's 5, which is why we now have a 1 series. Generally speaking, models have gotten bigger. When I first saw his new 5 I thought, "Whoa, that thing's big". He told me he ran into someone else who had the exact same reaction I did. He then told me if he could turn back the clock, he'd order today's F30 335 over his F10 535. At least for him, and me, the 5's now too big, and the 3's now big enough. The potential high-cost lease concern is weighing on me as well. My configuration is around the $54K mark and I do 15K miles per year. If the lease cost exceeds a pretty high $800 (for no cap reduction terms), despite me being a five-time BMW devotee, I may have to pass. BMW should not price themselves out of the market by decreasing residuals unreasonably or setting high-rate money factors during these times of low interest rates. After all, many folks these days are not seeing raises to increase their incomes. They could pick on the 335i lessors (hopefully not), assuming that "well, they MUST have money to spend if they are not going for the 328, let's get all we can get for awhile...". I will not greatly overpay for the "privilege" of having a newly designed (albeit excellent) car. I'll go pay cash for a Fiat Abarth first! However I would love to have this new BMW if terms are reasonable.

Does anyone know if the area below the climate controls setting opens? It would be odd for bmw to just mold the plastic liek that and not have it open...
tried attaching pic but it would not come out... |
