It sure is (the clue is in my profile name). I really like it, amazing roll rate and great glide performance up to 90kts without water ballast. Easy to rig too - well after the 26.5m Nimbus 3 I had before it.

Well its bye bye to my Estoril blue convertible and hello to sunset orange today.
Couldn't believe how big Sytner in Sheffield is, biggest BMW dealer in the UK apparently.
Hundreds of BMW cars, mine was the only orange one I could see. It's in my drive now, 4 hours to get there and 4 hours back, well worth it though.

Nice ride! Get closer to the car and try to leave more space in the direction it's pointing rather than behind. Make sure that the space you include around the car has a purpose and adds to the picture rather than distracts.
In your first pic, think of how many elements you can leave out of the frame - ie the Tesco screen on the left. Less is more

Haha the Tesco picture was a quickie as there were people looking at me and I felt a bit weird

The others were in the pissing rain so again didn’t want to hang around lol

Thanks for pointers though

There is always photoshop for those situations
Small file so quality is not good, but just to give you an idea

I'm sure he will correct me but the previous owner was the head of Alpina UK and drove to Germany quite often because he wasn't a fan of flying.

Thank you. They have been finished in ferric grey by the previous owner. I'm not sure if they were powder coated or sprayed.
Powder coat.

I added the M Performance diffuser at the weekend. It makes the MPPSK tips blend much better as they now don't appear to stick out so much from the normal M Sport diffuser. They always looked a little too obvious for my tastes.

Looks good, liking the black badge as well. Did that on my black on black though....stealth mode...

Yeah it really works well with the MPPSK tips, they're less sticky outy now.
And yes considering everything else on the car is either very dark grey or black (tints, wheels, exhaust, grills and mirror caps) the badge had to be swapped also.

Estoril sure looks ace when clean.

Took some autumnal shots of a dirty car the other night. Needs a good clean but I need extra motivation this time of year, damp roads make it difficult to keep on top of.

Also had some 265 rear tyres fitted to give the backs a bit more side wall. They match the fronts perfectly now

265 look great..!. I'm never a fan of the stretched tyre look.

Thanks,

The tyres are MPS4S'. Fronts are the standard size 225/35/20. I had the standard size 255/30/20's on the rear but they looked a little stretched with less sidewall than the front which made the wheels look smaller. Went up a size to 265/30/20 and they match perfectly, with nice square sidewalls all round.

Looks good. Shame thats not really an option on the xDrives, probably knacker the chocolate/cheese/monkey metal transfer case by the time you get to the end of the road.
