M Performance Exhaust for 435i

I know there have been a lot of videos on YouTube about this already. But I still want to share this. IMO I still find it a bit too quiet consider we are in Canada and the climate here is still too cold to open the window yet so can't hear anything when you are inside the car.

You are correct, it is fairly quiet. Mine didnt break in well until about 5k. Even now it provides some fun, but not quite angry enough. In process of upgrading to Akrapovic

Yeah I'm starting to get bored of it after 12k kms, the crackles and pops are nice but I really dont hear much exhaust (even in sport) in the car with the windows up. What sucks the most is that I like it when the window's dropped but it gets so cold here for so long that I rarely end up doing it.

Looking at a CG precision VS-1 and their catted DP.

MPE for the F3x series is very quiet. I speced it in the factory order when ordering my wife's 435i GC, and when we picked up the car I found it so quiet that I had to get out to make sure MPE was in fact installed on the car.

I think the problem is that F3x has a very good sound insulation that it's hard to hear the exhaust from the inside. If I roll down the window it's definitely loud enough. I'm sure when BMW tuned the MPE they made sure the decibel level could still pass the law, and as a result it becomes too quiet on the inside.

I have the mpe and I do like it. Crackles and very loud pops and bangs. However when driving at speed it's quiet. So full armytrix will be done over next few months

Any catless downpipe will cause CEL

Catted: None will guarantee no CEL but your best bet would be Fabspeed then Wagner then Evolution Racewerks (based on our customers)

Dont go with any cheaper brand, you are guaranteed to get CEL

I have Fabspeed dp installed and it's sounds really good. haven't had any issues with cell but there a bit of a smell if you try in sport/sport+.

Yeah the MPE really comes alive with a catless downpipe. Though even then from inside the cabin it is not that loud. The sound insulation is pretty solid in these cars, I was even underwhelmed at first with the DP and MPE, until I handed my girlfriend the keys and listened to a drive away from outside the car. It's plenty loud but still classy IMO.
