Congrats on the new car. I just picked up my 2015 328i xDrive recently as well. Make sure to check out the interior without the AC on. The dealer that sold me the car masked the smoker smell every time I inspected it and I didn't realize until my wife (who has a keen sense of smell) smelled it at home. I now have to deal with trying to get rid of the smell with an ozone generator. It's working slightly but I think I need to do a few more sessions.

looks great! Congrats - I noticed the front bumper is not drilled for a plate (at least thats what it looks like) - I for one do not like front plates and holes in my bumper - if you are the same I would suggest you contact the dealer ASAP and instruct them not to drill the bumper and leave it as is

Since it is your first BMW, and you are a senior who likes to DIY, I would suggest taking the car home and living with it for several months before doing anything else. Many of the posters on here are heavy into the modding scene, and such advice may not be applicable to your wants/needs with the car. I never mod my cars, and know of owners that have gone the mod route, only to wish they had not done so later
Just my 2c. Feel free to ignore.....

There's literally hundreds of options. Narrow search by item location USA. Paid about $10 for my pair, shipped. No issues. You will have to code them in to prevent flickering. |

I know that. That's why I was asking for the ones he specifically used.

How much did you pay for it? Is this a 328? It may not be able to connect to the internet not sure if that was up till 2014 or 2015 before they switched to 3G. Pre owned cars are dirt cheap now with the G20 on the horizon. Lots of aftermarket parts if you like to customize and make your car unique. A JB4 tune will really wake up the beast for a nominal fee and is easy to install. You can also do a BM3 tune for a little more money and maybe an exhaust.

Ebay Item Number:
253141488329 Link: https://www.ebay.com/itm/2x-H11-H8-4...item3af06892c9 I bought these as the 4 Leds in the Housing were diagonal design rather than Cross. just looked cooler. 2 Things you will notice after the 5 min install. 1) mine don't flicker, but I am pretty sure my car was coded before I took possession. 2) The LEDs stay LIT but very dim after vehicle shut off, very dim. and I am OK with that, they stay lit as long as accessory power is ON. which if you did not know is like 7 min after you lock the car and walk away. this includes your cigarette plug. |

Thank you for the heads up re the desirability of CPO. I further investigated and learned that oil changes were at 9900 mi, 18,500 mi and 24,000 mi. The interval on two changes was at 13 months, which may be the reason for non-CPO. With a CT car that is not enduring extreme heat, I'm not loosing sleep about that. I have 6 mo left on warranty to determine if there is any warranty issue to be dealt with.
Thanks again for advice and concern. |

It's the yellow/orange reflector in the front bumper shell, next to the headlights.
Many outfits paint them to match the body color. With a white car, you might consider getting clear ones instead, which are available on eBay about a quarter of the price of painted reflectors. They would blend in to the white body and still give some night visibility. I replaced the reflectors on my MGM 440i with smoked reflectors and think they blend in well. It only takes seconds to remove or replace the plate. I've driven thousands of high speed freeway miles without it falling off. |
