M sport brake effect on pad and rotor life?

The title pretty-much says it all. Do M sport brake pads and rotors last longer or shorter than the standard ones? What about brake dust?

Thanks

Much more brake dust for sure.

Don't know the answer on pad and rotor life, but I just had a 20K mile inspection and the dealership said I had plenty of life left on all pads and rotors.

I'm at 35K Miles, still about 10K to go.
I always replace rotor and pad at the same time. To avoid bed in problems, and the rotor are close to end of life anyway at this stage.

Brake dust is heave. Probably switch pads then to EBC RedStuff. Will see.

I have 96,000 miles on the original M Sport Brake Option rotors and they are still within spec. I have used stock M Sport Brake Option brake pads during the winter and and F8X M3/M4 stock brake pads in 17 track days and the fall/summer/spring so far.

45,000 miles and rotors are still in spec and on my second set of pads. I have 7 track days on the car.
