Sorry if it has already been posted here but where is this taking place? Maybe one of us should have been waiting around the courthouse or whatnot lurking around haha.

Cathy L. Waldor United States Magistrate Judge for the District of New Jersey Staff Information Judicial Assistant, N/A Chambers - 973-776-7862 FAX 973-776-7865 Though she’s probably getting all dollied up for tonight right about now. Might make her angry calling now asking about the results and she may reverse them if they were in our favor |

How much we pay in taxes for this judicial system, that is unable to take any conclusion and keeps dragging and dragging this forever?
I wonder... Is this problem only in USA vehicles? |

This is our judicial system which highly favors the party with the deepest pockets. The BMW Corp lawyers will request more discovery until the plaintiff lawyers see that any settlement will likely not cover their costs plus the profit margin imposed by the firms managing partners. This happens all of the time. If the number of vehicles impacted were greater, you would see the NTSB lawyers involved to assure the safety aspect was addressed for a substantial consumer pool....don't see it happening here. At best, I suspect, there will be a limited settlement with the named parties and not the entire class. I hope I am wrong....we'll see

Time to ramp this thing up
This has been going on for too long. It has been forgotten by the media. We need to unite! I challenge everyone to post this to every social network, every car blog, everywhere over and over. I would even like to organize a national protest day where we can picket the dealerships. We need to hit BMW in the pocketbook or they will never act. We need to shame them into settling. We the consumer need to show BMW that we have power! Notify your TV stations to do a segment on this. Let's all write a letter to the judge. Let's ramp this thing up!

Parties failed to reach a settlement and now the legal discovery process resumes I doubt that sending a letter to a judge creates an admissible piece of evidence. It will most likely end up in a garbage bin. Last edited by PK2348; 02-15-2020 at 12:19 PM.. |

Furthermore, and your letter might do more harm than good to the class action suit. Assuming you want BMW to be forced to recognize their error and make good of this wrong. It’d be good, though, to send the letter to the class action suit lawyer team, or as an Amicus Brief (spelling?) as an expert opinion. |
