You just don't understand Terry
Yeah I do, that's why I have no kids and three cars!

We have man maths. Wives have their own formulas : 2 x 1/2 = 2.
Bring the children with you then you can turn that formula around, giving 2 whole car driving day goodness in credit.

Although in woman maths when assessing your favour count, 2 x 1/2 = 1/4

First world problems
Hmmm I know what you mean.. Do I bring the newly Dms'd 335d the 400bhp 135i coupe or the s2000......
The 135i for definite!

The S2000 will get mullered and the 335d will be boringly easy, so trying to get the 135i off the line well will be fun, but then you've got the chance to catch cars as the run goes on and traction isn't an issue.
Hmmm it's not easy.... Rolling start from 40 mph the 135i is a rocket ship.... Standing quarter might require some practice...

Gates open 8, track opens 9.30 so it's an early one.

Registration recommended between 8.30 - 9 apparently

Just thought I'd point out Santa Pod is in Bedfordshire, not Northamptonshire.

That's no explanation - that's like my kids answering 'because' when asked 'why?'

I can only assume it's because the nearest villages are in Northants and you come into the site off roads in Northants?
