Anyone who is remotely interested in Eco Pro and my claims earlier in the thread - I was doing the same thing with this latest tank of diesel: Eco Pro for the longer cruises, total 'extra miles' adding up nicely as you go. Hit +90 miles last night on the read out and as I started to use fuel into the final quarter of the tank it starts dropping the total achieved and within a couple of miles (with no harder driving than I had been doing) it reached +65 miles. Looks like it must re-calculate as you start to drain the tank or something... really weird and doesn't look like I will ever give it the time of day again! Boring and not as efficient as it would like to make out...

It does that in any mode... I think it does it to 'create' a buffer so that even when it shows 0 range it actually still has a few litres left.

Sorry, don't think I was clear - I'm talking about the + miles/ the extra miles that Eco Pro mode shows you have achieved from your given fuel amount for having it in Eco Pro mode. Or am I totally misunderstanding what the blue number following the + means when in Eco Pro?

Ok, sorry I see what you mean, but it could be the way these two aspects are interacting? I'm sure that it's not a coincidence that as the tank gets towards empty that the figures it tells you related to fuel consumption, be that range or extra miles gained are manipulated!

I've no idea whether I could believe these figures as I couldn't drive in ECO pro mode for any more than a few minutes!

No problem and that does seem to make sense. All in all I know I have given Eco Pro a good shot at being worthwhile and it's proven very little value. So that's my time with it done!
1,900 miles in and still love the performance the engine and gearbox can muster when needed!

Here here, after about 30 secs I feel the lack of full aircon and switch out of it
