Cutout

Anyone ever installed an exhaust cutout before the muffler? I am considering this instead of buying a complete exhaust.

I have removed the muffler but have not installed a cutout before. Any particular reason you are looking to go this route?

Instead of spending over 1k for an exhaust system, installing a cutout for a couple hundred bucks seems like the logical choice to open up the exhaust for better flow and still have the benefit of a quiet exhaust when desired.
