I did not specify beta or non beta, only showed the most current dyno and numbers.

Keep holding your breath for the electronic boost control. It's not going to really change the power outcome much at all.

I'm just trying to see what the nonbeta would produce. You never know, it could be significantly higher / lower.

That was not the case when stage 1 went in and out of beta. It's more about small refinements. If it was anything that drastic, they would not allow so many in the hands of customers so early.

Me, I am holding out for electronic solenoid control before I jump back into a piggyback.

Hmm.. the current Stage 2 version that is out - is it easy to "un-do" when going in for services?

Should be less than 10 minutes. Stage 1 took me under 5.

Good man, thanks for the fast replies & non sarcastic responses.

The internet needs more people like you hah!

Just curious, what's the worst that could happen / risks on a 320i w/ Stage 2 in beta?

Well, I saw an N20 that needed a full engine replacement due to a failed injector-he had a AFE tune and the dealer is nice enough to realize it was not the fault of the tune. Most dealers would not be so nice, and you can be on the hook for $5-10-15k. But he also did not bother to remove the tune when he brought it in.

That's terrifying... I'd feel unethical bringing my car in if my engine broke due to an aftermarket tune :\

Is there a link to where you've seen this? I'd like to read up on it.. I wonder if BMS is more reliable.

It's the chance you take. Do not modify the car if you do not want to go down this road.

Hi Guys,

I have installed the Stage 1 from BMS on my 320i. I bought it to a reseller in Chile, but after knowing that the Stage 1 comes with default presets for the 328i, i want to check if the values are correct and suitable for my 320i. I know that you can modify the main values of the box by connecting to a BMS software. Does anyone know how to do this?

Can someone kindly please explain on detail how to do this, and what are the optimal values for best 320i n20 performance? (I want to achieve those 220whp)

Has anyone used this software before?

Than you guys!,

Boost over stock should be 4

you have to download the software from n54tech.com and make sure that you have this configuration, the rest is all the same, confirmed yesterday.

has anyone tried running 5psi with the stage 1? I have 94 octane fuel available and was wondering if it would be safe?

I tried it on my car... Didn't notice a difference...

I am running the same (I assume) Petro_Canada 94 octane.

Currently set at 4.5PSI.
