ITunes default on Bluetooth audio

When I use Bluetooth audio, iTunes seems to play by default and will not allow Bluetooth audio to run with my other apps(I heart radio, other streaming services)....anyone know ho to keep iTunes from running by default?

+1 … that repeated same track start is f...ing killing me
If anyone knows how to change/turn it off - please, save my nerves !!!

It is an Apple issue and not BMW.

Yeah, apple issue always plays the first song in your library - here a "solution":

https://www.engadget.com/2017/08/10/.../?guccounter=1

iPhone/BMW connect well via bluetooth but defaulting to 3rd party apps only really works via Carplay.
