Looks sharp! Can't wait to see how the rest looks. This should look downright mean in M4 trim.
Although I hope they change those 5 series-ish mirrors to something better looking.

The 3 Series Coupe (E92) has more rear interior space (width, legroom, and Headroom) than the 6 Series Coupe E63 or even the actual F12. The E92 is a lot bigger a lot more useful. The E92 sits 4 passengers much better that the F12 with it is a 2+2. With the new "4 Series Coupe" (F82) that sleek rear roofline makes me think this car is gonna have less rear space that either of the 6 Series or the actual E92!!! Even if there is enough headroom (which i doubt) the rear passengers heads will be just below the read glass (look at the pics). That heads are gonna get really hot on sunny days. Heads must be below the roof, not below a glass!! I don't know why new BMWs are longer and wider but interior space (mainly headroom) is smaller and smaller. Thank you! |

I have to say that side vent detail looks a bit cheap, I'd much rather see it as part of the metal and as not some plastic add-on. Painting it to match should rectify that. This does lead credence to a more exaggerated side vent on the M4 as we've seen so far in the renders.
On a positive note, I am liking the aggressive roof line and hofmeister kink. I'm sure it'll look every bit as good as the F30. I'm looking forward to the final reveal.

I'm thinking it's going to look very similar to the 1M vent but of course larger to fit to proportions of the 4-Series body. I don't know if it's commented on in the threads but the render of 4-Series and M4 are looking to be extremely accurate based on these pics.

The vent looks out of place IMO. The wheels make the car a lot sportier. Hopefully M-sport will be available at launch

Do we have any concrete evidence that this will be called the 4? Or is this still speculation?

It's hard to judge with out seeing the whole product. I think the real question is going to be price. Will they ask the near-silly premium the 6-series grand coupe commands over a 5-series? Will the M4 be a similar premium over the M3?
That would certainly inhibit it's attractiveness to much of the addressable market. |

Liked the side vent from afar. After the close up noticed it was an attached piece, looks like shit. And the tail lights look like smaller 6 series tails. Not liking the fastback line on the back. Is this supposed to be a hatch?
I can already tell the idea was to get ppl to pay more for this car thinking they are getting a baby 6 series and not a 3er coupe. Sad story. Therea gonna be a lot of asian chicks driving this car. May turn into a car labeled as a chick car. What a waste lol. |

Since it will be a Turbo 6. I wonder if there will be a huge difference between it and the 435. I know there will be a huge power difference out the box but in tuned form.
