But trust us, it will be called the 4 Series. And that's not just from speculation on our part.

Sport cars are have a defined width to length. Look at Ferrari or Lamborghini. They are quite short if you consider the width. |

While the roof line seems to be sleeker, the hood-line seems to have shrunk and it almost looks smushed together when compared to the E92 -- that's the only awkward aspect I don't like about the car. I want to reserve judgement until after the camo is taken off, but I like what I see so far. Bravo BMW!

As someone else stated earlier... Finally!
This all looks very promising to me! What an improvement over the E92. This car looks so much sleeker, with a much more dynamic profile. Comparing the F32 to the E92 and E46, I noticed that the side window area is a lot smaller on the new car, and a lot lower. This combined with the more aggressive hofmeister-kink looks great! Also, the rear window is moved down/backwards, closer to the end of the car, which adds to the sportiness. Considering the fact that this is only a sport line, it looks rather aggressive. I am very eager to see what the M-sport Package will look like on this model. Just like the F30, I think this is finally a real worthy successor to the E46. It looks absolutely amazing! That said, there is always room for improvement. I'm a bit skeptical about the air-curtain. As someone previously stated - I love the concept, but it just looks a bit out of place really. I think they should've incorporated it into the line following the side profile. Also, I'm a bit said that BMW - once again, like the E92, decided to skip the flared wheel arches. At first I thought the car looked rather high, then I realized this was due to the large gap between the fender and side windows. Then I compared it to the E46 and it seems as if the distance is more or less the same, however the flared wheel arch tricks the eye (at least my eyes..) Here is a comparison between the E46 and the F32. Notice the wide front wheel arches, and rear wheel arches evident on the E46. Also, it seems like we won't be seeing the electric outwards-opening rear windows on the F32 either. All of this aside, I love the new car. I can't wait for the official unveiling! As everyone stated, there are definitely some good things to observe here. Not too sure about that vent on the front fender, but very interested to see how it comes together as a finished package.
I guess I can start collecting pennies now lol |

Guys if you are worried about the black POS on the vent, I really doubt other models besides the Sport Line will have it. The other lines are suppose to look cleaner.

4 series as a "new era"?
It's just the new 3 series coupe... By the way, I think it is better to wait for the unveiling of the front and the rear before giving a final verdict. |

Love how much more compact that looks, and how the rear seats are pushed back. Trunk space must be smaller. I'll bet that car is a blast to drive!

I think it looks great and has much better (and sportier) proportions than the E92. The E9x cars were similar in overall shape and proportion between coupe and sedan but the new F32 looks very different from the F30 and I really like that. Reminds me of a larger TT or RSX (2nd gen) as far as overall shape. Some won't like that but I think those are very sporty body styles and BMW is improving on those shapes. It really looks like a separate model line that's not attached to the 3 series.

Anyone else notice the black strip on the bumper?
I distinctly remember that on the E46 coupe Honestly my biggest problem with the new 4 series is the side skirts. Very bland imo.
